Case Study
Founded in 2012 by Melanie Perkins, Cliff Obrecht and Cameron Adams. Based in Sydney, Australia, Canva is a graphic design platform that allows users to create social media graphics, presentations, posters and a wide array of other visual content. It’s available on web and mobile, and offers millions of images, fonts, templates and illustrations.
Canva users can choose from many Canva designed templates, with the ability to edit, and upload their own photos through a simple drag and drop interface. Simply pull up the Pexels add-on in Canva’s app section to begin discovering stuffing completely free content.
The platform is free to use, and paid subscriptions like Canva Pro and Canva for Enterprise offer additional functionality. Users can also purchase physical products to be printed and shipped. Pexels has always sought to empower creatives to take their work to the next level using the best free photography in the world. Canva’s motto is similar: they aim to make design and publishing more accessible to everyone, everywhere.
