Irina Kostenich's Photography Captures Meditative Moments

Welcome to Hero of the Week, an ongoing series sharing stories from some of the best photographers in the Pexels community.

Irina Kostenich is never without her camera. "I have been doing photography since childhood," she says. Armed with a film camera, she photographed everything around her.

Since getting her first SLR camera in 2012, she's continued to take photos ever since. Based in Belarus, Irina specializes in nature photography, shooting with a Nikon D7100 and Sony A5100.

Irina's photography has a quiet, contemplative feel. She often shoots flowers, trees, details of clouds — those small elements of nature that are easily overlooked in daily life, but also easy to find beauty in, if you take the time to look.

Irina draws inspiration from other photographers, mentioning Daniel Spase, Eberhard Grossgasteiger, and Paweł Czerwiński as some of her favorites.
