Pexels Teams Up With WeChat

We're excited to bring a better photo experience to WeChat with the Pexels library.

With more than one billion users, WeChat is the most popular messaging app in China. Similar to WhatsApp and Facebook, WeChat is a platform for connecting with friends, staying up to date on news, and also a key place for brands to connect with Chinese audiences.

Pexels is teaming up with WeChat to bring our free photo and video library to the WeChat Accounts Platform.

This is where brands and companies can create Official Accounts to connect with Chinese customers. For Chinese companies, it's a popular choice for marketing and sharing updates, and WeChat is also growing as a platform for global companies looking to reach Chinese audiences.

Thanks to the new Pexels integration, all brands using WeChat Official Accounts can seamlessly insert Pexels images into the articles and posts that they're sharing with followers, making it easier to quickly create and share marketing content with beautiful visuals attached.

WeChat public accounts, also known as the WeChat public platform, is a brand cooperation service launched by Tencent WeChat for celebrities, governments, media, enterprises, and other institutions. Users of the WeChat official account can promote their own news, branded content, and services to hundreds of millions of WeChat users through WeChat channels. Their slogan is: "No matter how small an individual is, it has its own brand." Currently, the WeChat public platform has aggregated over 20 million public accounts.

This new Pexels integration in WeChat means that millions of creators will be able to make use of Pexels photos to connect with this huge, diverse audience—taking the Pexels library to new heights. We're excited to see where Pexels photos can travel with WeChat.
